The holiday atmosphere and decorations were good. Harriman's Grill impressed with its curated holiday menu, perfect for a family gathering. The spa's entry fee was disappointing, especially with the steam room out of service. The lack of daily evening activities for adults detracted from the overall experience.

Gorgeous hotel, exceptionally attentive and caring staff, excellent location in the main restaurant for breakfast. Signature restaurant on the premises, well-appointed room with lounging furniture and a gas fireplace, as for instance. Location close to a state-of-the-art equestrian centre and all the areas that humans are and the library, living room, and dining areas.

The breakfast buffet was a feast, with fresh pastries that'll knock your socks off! I also loved the indoor saltwater pool vibes. The archery lesson was a fun twist for the family-definitely a unique touch! Plus, the holiday decor set the perfect festive mood throughout the resort.

The room was spacious and comfortable with nice amenities. The terrace offered a lovely view and was a great spot to relax. The beds were cozy. It felt a bit generic, like a standard room you'd find at a Westin, just larger. The vibe was nice, but it could use a bit more character.

The spa pool was a highlight of our stay. The horseback riding activity was a nice experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. S'mores by the firepit made for a cozy evening. The amenities and relaxation areas in the spa were fantastic and kept us coming back for more.

Stayed in a nicely decorated room with a stunning view of the Virginia countryside, luxurious bathroom facilities, comfortable bed, excellent service, and convenient on-site parking.
